The Peterborough Hub
Peterborough’s newest B2B magazine and a growing community of business owners, entrepreneurs and decision makers in businesses across Peterborough and surrounding areas.
The Peterborough Hub’s first edition was published in March 2020 and was crammed with useful stories and articles about all aspects of running a business, as well as inspirational and entertaining interviews with people actually doing it.
It landed on desks the day before lockdown was announced due to the coronavirus pandemic and we decided to take the magazine digital and begin to build a community online.
The Peterborough Hub is a cost-effective platform to advertise your business and there are also opportunities to be featured editorially in the next edition.

Help, support & advice
We aim to make The Peterborough Business Hub a lively and engaged community of business owners.
The focus of the community will be The Peterborough Business Hub Facebook group, which offers you the opportunity to network, get help with the issues and challenges you face as a business owner, as well as promote what you do.
In fact, we are big on helping businesses shout about what they do, which is why, as well as opportunities to post (rules apply) within the group, we also offer you the chance to promote yourself to our growing We Are Peterborough community.
This includes going “live” to share your expertise and give helpful how-to information which sets you apart as an expert in your field.
There are also opportunities to submit editorial content for our magazines and be featured as our Business of the Week, both within the publications, the Facebook groups and our weekly newsletter which goes out to around 4,000 people. Sign up to the newsletter here.
The Peterborough Hub is published by Catapult Media, the city’s newest independent publishing company.
The people behind Catapult Media live and run their own businesses locally and, as a result, have a long-established knowledge of and affinity with the city of Peterborough and the people who live and work here.
Our experience as small business owners gives us a unique perspective on the kind of publication you, as a business owner, wants to inspire, educate, inform and involve you – as well as give you a strong platform from which to promote your business.
We are focusing all of our local knowledge and our passion for seeing small businesses thrive and grow on creating The Peterborough Hub and our range of community-based PE magazines, as well as our online communities.
Small Business Experience
Catapult Media’s vision is for a thriving community of small businesses which work together to collaborate, share their secrets and stories of success through the pages of our magazines and in our online groups.
We also want to foster a sense of community, bringing together people within the neighbourhoods we serve.
Catapult Media’s mission is to create a portfolio of publications and platforms which inspire, educate, inform and include small businesses across Peterborough and beyond.
We want to be the “hub” which brings business owners and entrepreneurs together in a supportive community.
The values of Catapult Media centre around community.
A community of business owners operating within the community they serve.
Our values involve communication, citizenship, courage, commitment and connection – bringing people together.

Over her time in these businesses she has launched and developed many brands and publications that have become core products in their specialist sector.
Over the last 12 years, Sarah’s concentration has been on the B2B market and has included launching magazines, websites and events that have brought the UK automotive B2B sector together.
The secret to her success is to have a vision for a gap in the market, to provide a product that is engaging for the audience and profitable for the advertisers.
Sarah left Bauer Media early in 2019 to pursue her own business ventures working with the local business community on their media requirements.
